| St. Bernards are
easily recognized for their large size, droopy expression and sometimes,
by the barrel of spirits hanging from its neck. The Saint Bernard
is a tough working dog who was originally put to work as a rescue dog in
the High Swiss Alps. The spirits carried around its neck provided the rescued
with warmth to combat the cold temperatures. |
